Getting started with an ROV build can be a little daunting.  We'd like to help where we can - MATE Educate is a great resource for teachers and mentors who are just getting started (or who want to encourage their students to the next level!).

YES!  We are happy to take the Purchase Order from your US based School or Educational Organization. This refers to the contiguous United States, Hawaii, and Alaska.  

The SeaMATE store allows customers to easily place orders through purchase orders.

To place an order through a purchase order, please follow the steps below: 

1. Add all the items you would like to purchase into your cart. 

2. When you are ready to check out, open up your cart and below checkout there is a line that says, "Need a Quote?" Scroll down and fill out all the information required. Once all of your information is entered, click "Generate Quote". 

3. You will receive an email from seamate@marinetech.org that has your quote attached. 

4. Send the quote and your purchase order to seamate@marinetech.org for processing. 

5. Please make your Purchase Order out to "Marine Technology Society," and include the SeaMATE Order Number on the Purchase Order. The mailing address is as follows:

6. An invoice will be e-mailed to you once your Purchase Order has been received.  Your order will be fulfilled and shipped as soon as we receive payment. Please allow 3-5 business days for fulfillment and approximately one week for shipping. Please notify us if your educational institution needs to receive merchandise before payment can be released.

YES! However, there will be additional shipping fees. Please contact us for more information.

We ship using UPS but can use other shipping services depending on the needs of our customers.

If you paid by "Credit Card", your order will be processed immediately. Please allow 3-5 business days for order fulfillment and approximately one week for transit.

Residents of Tennessee or Washington D.C. will be charged tax on their orders. If you have a tax-exempt certificate, please contact us before placing an order. 

We do accept returns. Please check out our Refund & Return Policy for more information.

To create a quote, please add all items needed into your cart. Once you are ready, go to your cart and scroll to the bottom where it says "Need a Quote?". Fill out all your information and click "Generate Quote." Once completed, you will receive an email with the quote.

This includes device information (e.g., IP address, browser version) to optimize our site, and order information (e.g., name, address, payment details) to process your purchases. We may also collect additional information for customer support or grant reporting purposes.

Your personal information may be shared with service providers such as Shopify, shipping agents (UPS, USPS, DHL, FedEx), and grant organizations like the National Science Foundation.
